SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

Abstracts should be submitted electronically by 30 November 2008. Please download and complete the Abstract Submission form (see below) and send it to s.kruger@ljmu.ac.uk. If you experience any problems, please contact the conference organiser.  

Paper presentations: Please submit abstracts of approximately 300 words. Papers should last a maximum of 20 minutes in length, including all audio/visual illustrations, plus 10 minutes for questions.

Pre-formed panels: Please submit abstracts of approximately 1000 words with each named speaker and their institutional affiliation. Panels should last 1 hour and 30 minutes, including all audio/visual illustrations and time for questions.

Film shows: Please submit abstracts of approximately 300 words. Film shows may last from 30 to 90 minutes.

Performances/ workshop sessions: Please submit abstracts of approximately 300 words. Performances/ workshop sessions should last a maximum of 20 minutes length, including all audio/visual illustrations, plus 10 minutes for questions.

Poster presentations: Please submit abstracts of approximately 300 words.

Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel, and presenters will be advised as to their acceptance or otherwise by 15 January 2009. If you have not received a notification from the conference committee indicating whether or not your abstract was accepted, please contact Dr Simone Krüger, s.kruger@ljmu.ac.uk.

Please note that all participants whose proposals have been accepted for the conference must be BFE members at the time of registration for the conference.  Please see Delegate Information for further details.
